Bio: Tanner Ray is a student at Liberty University majoring in Western Legal Traditions with minors in Business, International Relations, and Politics and Policy. Tanner has served in Liberty’s SGA as a delegate and chairman of the Subcommittee on Firearms Oversight. He currently serves as Executive Director for SL4GR.

Cassy Ford: Chairwoman

  • Major: Government: Politics and Policy

Bio: Cassy Ford is a student at Liberty University and the Helms School of Government. Shooting from the age of three, Cassy has a great love of both firearms and the Second Amendment. She has been heavily involved with Student at Liberty for Gun Rights since her Freshman year and spent the fall semester of her Sophomore year interning with Gun Owners of America. Joining the SL4GR leadership team in Spring of 2017, she hopes to share her love for the Second Amendment with other students in her time at Liberty.

• Major: Criminal Justice

Bio: As Vice President, Chase’s role is to help in hosting meetings and executive tasks for SL4GR. Chase is currently an Army ROTC cadet competing for a commission into the active duty Army.

Nathan Northcutt: Director of Communications

Bio: I was born in Houston, Texas but have lived all over the world, so I don’t really have a hometown. I’ve been involved with firearms my whole life from hunting and plinking at the age of six. I started shooting long range when I was thirteen. I went to Fork Union Military Academy and was a Virginia Military School Rifle League state champion Marksman’s for smallbore three position indoor competitions. Fun facts, I’m an avid AR15 armorer, ammunition reloader, and was published as a fitness model a couple times once upon a time. I’m an avid shooting competitor and outdoorsman few things make me happier than having a rifle I can trust in my hands.

Riley Hayes: Treasurer

• Major: Interdisciplinary Studies: Criminal Justice, Military History, and Strategic Intelligence

Bio:  Riley is a firearms enthusiast and gun rights activist from rural upstate New York. He was homeschooled from first grade through high school and was accepted at Liberty University in the summer of 2014. After joining Students at Liberty for Gun Rights, and spending over a year as an active member of the club, Riley joined the Leadership Team as the Spring 2017 Treasurer.

Jordan Stein: Founder and President Emeritus

Major: Government: Politics and Policy

Bio: Jordan Stein is a senior at Liberty University, and a student at the Helms School of Government. His freshman year, he founded Students at Liberty for Gun Rights (SL4GR) and currently serves as president emeritus. He also founded Christians 4 Freedom. He has interned for the Republican Governors Association and Gun Owners of America (GOA), and he continues to work for GOA as the Public Relations Coordinator.
