Jordan Stein: Founder and President
• Hometown: Asheboro, NC
• Year: Class of 2017
Major: US Government Politics and Policy

Bio: Jordan Stein is a junior at Liberty University, and a student at the Helms School of Government. His freshman year, he founded Students at Liberty for Gun Rights (SL4GR) and currently serves as president. He also founded Christians 4 Freedom. He has interned for the Republican Governors Association and Gun Owners of America (GOA), and he continues to work for GOA as the Public Relations and Social Media Coordinator. Learn more about Jordan at Freedom Gulch.

Chase Giess: Vice President
• Hometown: Mansfield, OH
• Year: Class of 2017
• Major: Criminal Justice

Bio: As Vice President, Chase’s role is to help in hosting meetings and executive tasks for SL4GR. Chase is currently an Army ROTC cadet competing for a commission into the active duty Army.

Brittany Specht: Secretary
• Hometown: Lanenburg, MA
• Year: Class of 2018
• Major: Strategic Communications

Bio: Brittany supports Team SL4GR by contacting members and completing other organizational tasks. Her tasks also include managing membership affairs. Brittany is the person who turns all the group chaos into order.

Eric Reed: Treasurer
• Hometown: Darlington, MD
• Year: Class of 2017
• Major: Criminal Justice with a minor in Aeronautics

Bio: Eric serves as the Treasurer of SL4GR and handles financial tasks. is currently enrolled as an Air Force ROTC cadet in conjunction with the University of Virginia Air Force ROTC program; He is working to earn a commission as an active duty officer.

Sander Smith: Press Relations Officer (PRO)
• Hometown: Herndon, VA
• Year: Class of 2017
• Major: Electrical Engineering with a focus in Intelligence and a minor in Mathematics

Bio: Sander handles technology side of SL4GR and is currently enrolled as an Air Force ROTC cadet in conjunction with the University of Virginia Air Force ROTC program; He is working to earn a commission as an active duty officer. Sander intends to go to fighter pilot training after graduation and commissioning.

Timmy Falasca: Events Coordinator

• Hometown: Forked River, NJ
• Year: Class of 2016
• Major: Criminal Justice

Bio: Timmy wants to pursue a career in law enforcement after graduation. Timmy has been the lead in constructing LU’s first Active Shooter program, and has coordinated and executed SL4GR’s off-campus events.

Remso W. Martinez: Blog Contributor

  • Hometown: Clifton, VA
  • Year: Class of 2017
  • Major: US Government Politics and Policy

Bio: Remso is a prominent libertarian activist and freelance writer. He was previously the head policy analyst for the Brian Suojanen for Delegate campaign in Virginia, and is the current campaign manager for Austin Petersen’s 2016 presidential campaign. Remso is a graduate of Marion Military Institute, where he earned an Associates of Science degree and a early commission as an Infantry officer in the Virginia National Guard. This summer Remso will be interning at the Media Research Center’s Culture department. Remso covers issues relating to gun rights and self-defense for SL4GR.
